Details: The Freestyle Fish concept is only a year old, yet it has been one of the most talked about boards in North's range. What started as a concept project is now a category of it’s own in 2009.
For 2009 North have used the knowledge and experience of surf shaper Martin Littlewood to give a more “surfy” twist to this concept without losing the ease of use that made the Freestyle Fish so popular in the past.
North have expanded the range to a bigger version to please the bigger riders and light wind riders.
The result is two boards that will make the most fun of medium and small surf, light wind or even flat water freestyling.
Feel free to have a blast in conditions that you used to overlook; Onshore mush, wind swell… the North Freestyle Fish will challenge you to have the most fun.
Both boards can be ridden with or without straps and all the accessories have been improved to achieve maximum comfort and performance. A perfect complement to your quiver bag!
The width of the North Freestylefish makes it stable and easy to ride while the extremely short length helps it fit snugly in the tight pocket of small waves.
A rocker that fits your stance gives you total control over the whole board so you can slash the waves with style!
The slight concave and rail shape makes the board stick to the water so now anyone can ride strapless!
If jibing has ever been a problem, the symmetrical outline combined with the width and rocker will take care of that.
If you need a light wind weapon, then look no further! The North Freestylefish 09 has enough surface and volume to get you up and riding while everyone else is beached!
Strapped or strapless, the challenge of riding a surfboard is there even if the conditions are not!
